Unlike many outdoor lighting products which lack optical control and contribute to light pollution, Thorn’s Piazza 2 LED features a precise and directional LED light source. Light is directed only where it’s needed, without disturbing neighbours, contributing to sky glow or harming the environment or nearby wildlife

Piazza 2 LED’s efficacy of over 106lm/W meets requirements for the UK’s Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) scheme. For more efficient lighting control, DALI versions are available, as well as versions with photosensors so the luminaire can be dimmed or switched off in response to levels of ambient light
