Enhancing Urban Infrastructure with Sustainable Lighting

The municipality of Wejherowo, in partnership with Energa Oświetlenie Sp. z o.o. and Thorn Lighting, has successfully modernized its street lighting system. The primary goal was to improve road safety, reduce energy consumption, and contribute to environmental sustainability. By replacing outdated sodium luminaires with energy-efficient LED technology, the project aligns with the city's commitment to innovation and responsible urban development.

Advanced LED Technology for Maximum Efficiency

Isaro Luminaire up to the challenge

At the heart of this transformation is Thorn’s Isaro luminaire, featuring the proprietary R-PEC system with over 20 optimized light distributions. Designed for durability and easy installation, Isaro seamlessly integrates with existing infrastructure, ensuring uniform illumination and enhanced visibility. The new lighting setup significantly improves road safety by providing better light intensity and reducing dark spots, ultimately creating a safer environment for pedestrians and drivers alike.
